Training Pathways

Parents

Learn the rhythm before the season starts: where to be, how to help, what to expect, and how to support the game without adding noise.

  1. Register in inLeague and keep family contact info current.
  2. Subscribe to the Fall 2026 calendar and watch for team assignment email.
  3. Review field arrival, parking, hydration, and sportsmanship expectations.

Coaches

Get trained before the first practice. A prepared coach gives the team confidence and makes the season easier for every family.

  1. Complete Safe Haven and the division coach course in AYSOU.
  2. Use the matching coach manual for training plans and game-day format.
  3. Use the Coaching page for lineup cards, player rotation, and formations.

Referees

Start with the official referee course, then use the local field notes to understand check-in, game flow, and who has your back on match day.

  1. Complete the official referee training assigned to your age group.
  2. Review the AYSO referee guideline before your first match.
  3. Check in early with the referee coordinator on game day.
