Fall 2026 team formation starts August 22
A full fall season takes real work: players ready to compete, parents willing to help, coaches prepared to lead, and a region organized enough to make Saturday feel simple. That is the standard.
We build the season around the AYSO values because they still hold up under pressure: play the kids, balance the teams, welcome the families, coach positively, compete with sportsmanship, and keep developing players.
Official Fall 2026 registration happens in inLeague
Registration is where the season starts becoming real. Use inLeague for the official player record, program choice, volunteer roles, and payment. Use your Los Feliz site profile for the layer we are building around it: schedules, team views, tools, and family features that make the season easier to follow.
One player should have one official inLeague record. If another adult already registered your player, have them add you to the existing Family Profile instead of creating a duplicate record. Need help getting into inLeague?
The World Cup is in Los Angeles
The World Cup is a useful excuse to make the site more alive. Verify the same email you use in inLeague, join the family pick'em, and start using the profile that will later remember your team, calendar, and season preferences.
Team formation, kickoff, games, playoffs, and all-star dates
These are the dates that shape the season. Subscribe once, and the big regional milestones stay with you. Team-specific game times will still come through inLeague once rosters and schedules are live.
Team formation is the first real test of the season. We form teams, notify families together, and use the following week to fix problems before kickoff turns names on a roster into actual teams.
After Labor Day, the season stops being theoretical. Practices sharpen, game windows matter, and Saturdays start to carry the rhythm families remember.
The finish matters. Younger divisions close with a full season behind them, older teams chase playoff games, and All-Star conversations reward players and families who helped carry the program.
A place to start, grow, compete, and belong
The backbone of the region: balanced teams, weekly practice, weekend games, volunteer coaches, and a season that asks players to improve together.
The first touch. Playground serves ages 3-4 from 8:30-9:30 AM. Schoolyard serves ages 4-5 from 9:45-11:00 AM.

Fall 2026 age guide
The age chart keeps registration fair and organized. It also helps place young players where they can actually enjoy the game instead of being rushed into the wrong format.
Based on the official AYSO Fall 2026 age group chart. Players born Aug 1, 2021 or later should be reviewed for Schoolyard or Playground before being placed into U6.

First touch soccer
Playground ages 3-4: Aug 1, 2022-Jul 31, 2023 · Schoolyard ages 4-5: Aug 1, 2021-Jul 31, 2022
A coed, non-competitive first soccer experience for preschool players. Paid coaches lead a playful session focused on movement, confidence, and comfort with the ball.
Saturday sessions only. There is no weekly practice for Playground or Schoolyard.

Coach, referee, team manager, and board roles
Los Feliz AYSO is not a drop-off service. Coaches, referees, team managers, field crews, and board volunteers turn registration into a real season. The work is visible, useful, and deeply satisfying when the games start.
